Week 1: Intro to Endstar & Game Making
- OverviewWith their game concepts formed, we’ll introduce students to two ways they can refine their concept even further: visual art and storytelling. We’ll provide a handful of tools and approaches for these disciplines before allowing students to explore the art and narrative behind their own game concepts.

Week 2: Ramping Up: Advanced Endstar & Team Formation
- OverviewWe’ll be diving into some of the more complex Endstar features, and have students sort themselves into groups that will then work on their first attempts for prototype games

Week 3: What Makes a Game Fun? Game Design Basics
- OverviewStudents will be introduced to foundational game design concepts that will assist them in structuring the projects they’ll be working on for the rest of the course, after which we’ll walk them through ideation exercises to clarify what their group might want to make.

We’ll guide students through running playtests and providing feedback to their peers, allowing them to continue to improve their games based on the experiences of its players. We’ll also dedicate time to starting the development of pitch decks for students’ games, ensuring that they know how to communicate the key details that make their work stand out.

Week 6: Project Refinement & Showcase
